Carol Nelson Shepherd, Esq., a partner with the Philadelphia personal injury law firm of Feldman, Shepherd, Wohlgelernter, 
Tanner, Weinstock & Dodig, was recently honored by the Women’s Resource Center in Wayne, Pa., for her exceptional contributions in the legal profession on behalf of personal injury plaintiffs including women, children and families.

My clients have been devastated by terrible losses arising from childhood birth trauma and late-diagnosed breast or cervical cancer to other crippling injuries and premature death as a result of the failure of doctors, hospitals and others medical practitioners to provide timely, proper and quality medical care. Shepherd was recently named among the 2009 Top 50 Women Super Lawyers in Pennsylvania, the Top 100 Super Lawyers in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania and a Pennsylvania Medical Malpractice Super Lawyer. She has served as president of both the Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Associations, and has chaired the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Civil Litigation Section, in addition to holding numerous other prominent leadership positions regionally and nationally.
Shepherd’s litigation highlights include securing multimillion dollar settlements and verdicts in obstetrics malpractice, failure to diagnose, birth trauma and birth injuries, and other catastrophic medical malpractice matters.
