Philadelphia Personal Injury Attorney Patricia Giordano Networks with Rutgers School of Law-Camden StudentsMarch 22, 2010 Attorney Patricia Giordano of the Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock & Dodig participated in the Rutgers School of Law-Camden’s first-ever speed networking event on February 18, 2010.
The event took place in the Rutgers Camden Campus Center. It provided law students with the opportunity to meet with a variety of attorneys and to learn about career opportunities. Following the one-hour speed networking session, there was a reception during which student participants conversed informally with the legal professionals.
“Law students were given eight minutes to speak with each attorney,” said Giordano. “My focus was to educate students on what it really means to be a plaintiff’s medical malpractice attorney. I also offered advice on how to build lasting relationships and approach searching for a job in the legal community.”
Giordano focuses her practice on complex civil matters including catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and pharmaceutical errors. She is a member of the Philadelphia and Camden County Bar Associations, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and New Jersey Association for Justice. She is Chairperson of the Camden County Child Placement Review Board, a group of community volunteers who provide recommendations to the court regarding the placement of children taken out of the home and termination of parental rights. Giordano is also a member of the Board of Directors of NEXUS/foundation for today’s art, a non-profit art gallery located in North Philadelphia.
