Philadelphia personal injury lawyer Carol Nelson Shepherd of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP is serving as co-chair of the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) 2012 April Benefit. The nonprofit, providing free direct civil legal services to Philadelphia’s homeless and shelter population, will host its annual fundraiser on Apr. 11, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Sofitel, Philadelphia.
Each year, the HAP benefit draws approximately 200 people including business and legal professionals in the Greater Philadelphia region. The evening will feature musical guest, “Class Action,” a ‘60s and ‘70s band comprised of attorneys who were originally law firm colleagues at Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin. All proceeds from the fundraiser will support HAP’s mission to serve the Philadelphia homeless and shelter population. Outside of serving as co-chair of the charity event and long-time HAP board member, Shepherd is a founding partner with Philadelphia personal injury law firm Feldman Shepherd.
