Technology Tips for Managing Your Practice: From Desktop to Mobile
Gilbert J. Marquez , Law Firm Administrator, will be speaking about Technology Tips for Managing Your Practice: From Desktop to Mobile at the 2013 Philadelphia Bar Association Bench-Bar Conference, October 4 & 5, 2013 at REVEL in Atlantic City.
Along with fellow presenters, Marquez will address the use of mobile technology in the practice of law including productivity, billable hours, staying in touch with clients and business management.  This course will explore the multitude of tech challenges confronting attorneys across all platforms whether it’s a handheld or mobile device (Droid, iPhone, Blackberry); office computer (Windows or Macbook); tablet (iPad); or home system (iMac; Macbook, Windows).  The continuing legal education program will also address:
  • Metadata and how deadly it can be to privileged communications.
  • Techniques to create, manage and use PDFs more effectively.
  • How to share large files across multiple platforms.
