$2M Pre-trial Settlement for Woman Who Suffered Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Following a Surgical Nerve Injury

Attorneys Mark W. Tanner and Peter M. Newman resolved the claims of a woman who had undergone a plastic surgery procedure in which she sustained a nerve injury.  This nerve injury progressed to a debilitating condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS).

After a lengthy battle through discovery in which the surgeon denied all negligence and even questioned the cause of the injury itself, days before trial this settlement was reached, thus securing a future for the client and her family, and avoiding the uncertainties associated with the trial.
