Tom Martin has been a civil trial lawyer for more than thirty years. He has practiced with several firms over his career and was a sole practitioner for more than 18 years before joining this firm. His practice has consisted of a varied case load of civil litigation with an emphasis on representing individuals in personal injury, consumer and employment related litigation. He has tried cases to juries in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey and has argued appeals before the US Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit, as well as the Pennsylvania Superior, Commonwealth and Supreme Courts. He has also served as a mediator in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pa. and as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Tom Martin is a life long resident of Philadelphia who has practiced as a civil trial attorney for over thirty years. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Prep in 1970 and received his Bachelor’s Degree, cum laude, from Boston College in 1974. He attended Villanova Law School where he was an Associate Editor of the Villanova Law review and received his law degree with honors in 1977. He is an active participant in Community affairs serving as counsel to the thirty-eighth ward of the Philadelphia Democratic Party, as a member of the East Falls Community Council, and as a long term board member and coach for the East Falls Sports Association.
